About Ryan
My name is Ryan, I am currently in the final semester of my undergraduate degree and plan on starting medical school this summer. One of the things about my undergrad that I enjoyed was the teaching opportunities I have had throughout. I volunteered at my university Biology help center, taught a weekly discussion section for human genetics for a year, and have also taught a weekly human anatomy lab for a year.
My philosophy for teaching is to focus students' attention on the most important topics first, getting a strong foundation and then building off of that.

Teaching for undergraduate-level courses.
What I feel sets my lessons apart from others, is that I try to get straight to the most important points, in a way that students find memorable as well as enjoyable.
I like to use a systems-based approach in my studies and I truly feel that teaching in a systems-based manner allows students to connect and apply the materials in a lasting way.
I have worked with a wide variety of different students while teaching discussions and lab sections supplemental to the course material for the past year. This has given me significant exposure with a variety of different learning styles.
