About Mia
Hi! I am currently a sociology undergraduate in my second year at university. I have GCSE's in Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Media, History and Drama as well as A levels in Sociology, Psychology and History. During GCSE I fell in love with history especially and spent most of my time researching and watching documentaries about historical figures and events which led me to picking history as an a level in year 12. My love for sociology developed from this as I found a wide range of sociological concepts had a massive historical background and it's interesting to see how this has developed into modern day society :)

I have a wide range of techniques, firstly would like to discuss with the student how they learn best! I'm aware some learn through listening to podcasts however others prefer spider diagrams and revision cards best. Personally I use quizlet and will share with you revision cards I have made in my sessions as well as posters and diagrams. A typical lesson will last 50 minutes and I am able to tutor GCSE level students and under.
