About Mahira
I am an A-level student who is applying to university for a course involving educating and advocating for children. I aim to better the lives of those around me in any way I can and teaching is a sector i am highly passionate about. I would love to be able to help out those who need extra support on their education as I too was once in their spot.

I ensure one topic is thoroughly understood before moving on to the next, the basics should be recognised before moving on to more complex parts of the subject. I aim to focus on topics a child may struggle with the most by using methods of active recall. Not only to retrieve this information and understand it but I aim to teach the different revision methods. I cater my teaching to the type of learner the child may be for example a visual learner. Lessons can range from between 1 to 5 hours. I tutor students who are in primary and secondary school either studying for their SATs or GCSEs. My main area of tutoring is Maths and Science.
