About Hugh
I'm a first year chemical engineering student at the University of Manchester. The reason why I want to tutor students is because I hope to perhaps enter academia in the future and I want to start gaining experience now in teaching whilst helping out other students in their learning.

I try to keep my students engaged in my teaching by presenting them a series of activities to work on throughout the teaching session. I try to simplify complicated subjects to bitesize bulletpoint to help my students understand better. Of course practice makes perfect therefore one of my main teaching methods is to help my student practice as much as possible and helping them along the way.
