About Anya
I love interacting with new people and I simply see English as a means of communicating better, learning English with me doesn’t have to dilute who you are and where you come from, it simply gives you more opportunities to communicate it! I learned English with this very same mindset and it’s helped me become fluent in the language! I want to know more about other people, it’s one of the reasons I keep my classes very conversational!

The best way to learn English is to speak it! The same for analysis - practice is essential! However, I don’t believe that practice should be draining, in fact over half my material is from mass media and popular culture including TV shows and movies! Sometimes if I feel confident I’ll even let you choose the piece yourself! It’s much easier to talk about things you’re interested in and are passionate about rather than the traditional archaic texts we commonly use to learn English (cough*Shakespeare*cough)
