About Deepak

Hello!
I’m Deepak Singh, currently pursuing M.S. (Research) in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi, and a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Hamirpur with a strong academic background. I teach Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science to students from Class 6 to 12 (CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards), focusing on building clear fundamentals and strong problem-solving skills rather than rote learning.

My teaching philosophy is simple: no doubt is silly, and it’s never too late to improve. I focus on explaining concepts step by step in a student-friendly manner, providing clear roadmaps, important do’s and don’ts for each topic, and exam-oriented guidance without overburdening students. I aim to make learning effective, stress-free, and enjoyable, while always being approachable and supportive. Furthermore, I also understand the emotional and academic challenges students face, and I’m open to addressing issues beyond just the syllabus that may be affecting their performance.

Academically, I have GATE CS qualification, JEE Main and Advanced qualification, 97 percentile in Physics (JEE Main 2020), 96/100 in Class 10 Mathematics, 94/100 in Class 12 Mathematics, and 93.33% overall in Class 10, along with a CGPA of 8.89 in B.Tech CSE from NIT Hamirpur. In addition to school-level teaching, I also guide students in programming (C/C++) and core Computer Science concepts.

I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students strengthen their fundamentals and gain confidence. About the lesson

Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, I prioritize building strong conceptual understanding rather than promoting rote memorization. I believe learning should feel logical and meaningful, not mechanical. I use real-life examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving to make topics easier to grasp. Likewise, I encourage students to ask questions freely, no doubt is ever too small or silly.

Teaching Methods

I tailor my teaching style to each student, as I believe every learner is unique. While the approach varies, I usually start with the basics, explaining why a topic matters and how it connects to real-world scenarios. My goal is to make the introduction so engaging that students feel genuinely motivated to learn.

Once the foundation is clear, we move on to advanced concepts. I provide well-curated assignments with thoroughly explained problems, taken from standard textbooks and past year board papers. Instead of flooding students with hundreds of questions, I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring deep understanding and consistent revision. Weekly tests are conducted to track progress and reinforce learning.

Structure of a Typical Class

Each class is planned around the topic at hand. I usually begin with a quick recap of the previous session, followed by a few questions to check understanding. If the student is confident, we dive into the new topic using real-world examples and solve problems from standard references. I also pause to clarify doubts and adjust the pace based on the student’s comfort.

What sets my classes apart is my patient and supportive teaching style. I truly understand the struggles students face, because I’ve experienced them myself. This helps me connect with learners on a deeper level. I tailor my approach to each student’s individual pace and needs, ensuring they never feel left behind or overwhelmed. More than just a tutor, I see myself as a mentor — someone who not only teaches concepts but also motivates, guides, and builds confidence in students.
