Phan Bao Tran is an excellent tutor that brings a contagious enthusiasm for Vietnamese culture and an encouraging attitude to our Vietnamese lessons. She puts a lot of thought into each lesson so that one lesson flows naturally to the next and alongside the numerous extremely helpful resources that she provides, learning Vietnamese has been a cinch. Not only have I learnt a lot on how to speak Vietnamese, I've also learnt quite a bit about the culture there as Phan Bao weaves in many interesting tidbits about Vietnam and even sharing pictures of certain landmarks in Vietnam outside of lessons.

Miss Harmon structures her Vietnamese lessons in a very logical way, building vocabulary and grammar step by step. After around 10 sessions, I can hold basic conversations and understand common everyday expressions. She also offered much cultural context along with well-prepared learning materials.
