About Sage
I am currently a Psychology student. The reason I chose Psychology is because I'm very interested in trying to understand what motivates people to make the decisions they do. I am also very passionate about English and literature as it helps me develop as person.
I was living in China for the last couple of years and was teaching young children English and tutoring high school students.
I strive to help my students excel in English and push them to do their best to reach their potential.

I individualize my sessions to my students needs.
I usually start with a story or an activity to get the student thinking and spark their interest. Through the activity or story I am then able to see the level they are currently at. Moving forward I then cater to the students needs by providing resources and thoroughly brainstorming so the concepts are grasped easily. I like to hear their ideas by asking questions and getting them to ask me questions. I really love interacting to understand the student and what motivates them.
I am able to teach English Second Language learners and I have experience with helping younger children and teenagers.
