About Evan

I have always liked speaking English and listen to people, but my level comes mainly from different experiences I have had abroad.

Having just obtained my Highschool Diploma, I went to work in England for 6 months. I greatly improved my English during this period.

I then traveled several times to the United States and Asia, where I was able to practice my English again.

More recently I studied for 1 year in Mexico in English, where I was able to develop a more professional English.

Today I am comfortable talking to anyone about any subject, and developed an accent closer to American than British.

About the lesson

Having had the chance to travel a lot at a young age, and to study abroad in English. I was able to learn by doing. Today, I am convinced that learning must go through practice and that traditional lessons are not enough for in-depth learning of the language.
Beyond my linguistic skills, I like to transmit what I know and allow others to improve in any area.

So, depending on the need, my courses will of course have a part of grammar and classical vocabulary, but will mainly go through a lot of dialogue and oral which for me are essential. If the course is intended for your child, I can also adapt to his school program, and support him, whatever his level.

Perfect! Evan est un bon pédagogue, je souhaitais me concentrer sur l'anglais parlé, et les cours que Evan offre, me permettent d'être beaucoup plus à l'aise à l'oral. De plus, il met à disposition un document en ligne, nous permettant de travailler les tournures écrites en temps réel.

J’ai eu l’occasion de prendre des cours avec Evan et ai apprécié sa patience et pédagogie. On a pu avoir des conversations très intéressantes bien que mon anglais nécessite encore beaucoup de travail. Le fait qu’il ait vécu en Amérique pendant 2 ans en fait un très bon prof pour développer son aisance à l’orale notamment. Recommande sans hésiter :)

evan was completing a long journey by bike and stayed at my place for a couple of days. we had some lively conversations, on a broad spectrum of subjects and in perfect english ... thankfully since my french is almost non-existent! even his accent is very polished!

he has a natural sense of curiosity and an easiness and directness about the way he expresses himself that makes it simple to understand what he’s trying to get across.

i’m an (american) architect but i think evan would make an excellent english teacher
