About Zara

I am a dedicated and reliable tutor currently in my final year of university studying Early Years and Childhood Studies, with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. I have hands-on experience working with primary-aged children, particularly within Key Stage 1, and currently teach Year 2 pupils at a local community centre. I take a professional, patient, and supportive approach to tutoring, creating a safe and encouraging learning environment where children feel confident to ask questions and make progress at their own pace. I plan structured, age-appropriate lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs, focusing on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. I am committed to maintaining high standards of safeguarding, communication, and reliability, and I work closely with parents to ensure clear progress and consistency. My aim is not only to support academic development but also to help children develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

About the lesson
