About Penny
I have studied Latin for 10 years, acquiring a strong foundation in Latin language, literature and Ancient Roman (and Greek) History. Studying Latin at degree level has ensured I am well-versed in the intricacies of the language, alongside having studied a range of authors (Ovid, Cicero, Virgil and more) and their texts and so understand the differences in writing style and language of prose and verse. I also have an A-Level in Classical Civilisation (and Latin), alongside having completed three modules at degree-level in Ancient History (concerning both the Roman World and the Ancient Greek World).

I believe learning Latin should be educational yet enjoyable and so I combine traditional teaching methods with interactive activities to engage students. However, upon meeting new students, I will discuss with them how they best learn new material or revise covered material, and will deliver lessons in ways which best suit the student.
As a soon-to-be graduate, I understand firsthand the challenges of learning Latin and am well-equipped to help students address them.
