About Hector
I have been assisting fellow students with math-related problems throughout all of my high school life, both inside and outside of school. My grasp on the subject means I've been able to successfully assist practically all those who've come to me. I have a 680 and 35 on the math sections of the SAT and ACT respectively, and also scored a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam. Currently I am pursuing a maths-related degree at Cleveland State University.

When tutoring someone, it's not enough that they come away with the right answers for their schoolwork for me. I want them to actually see what the underlying themes are, and get a fuller and richer understanding of maths as a whole. I want them to see mathematics as the wonderfully playful and imaginative subject that I've always seen it as, and hopefully even inspire them to go on and do some poking around in it themselves, to see all the amazing other topics they don't teach in school.
