Hi! I’m a college student majoring in Mathematics with a 4.0 GPA, and I tutor students from elementary through high school. With a strong academic foundation and a true passion for math, I’m here to help students not only improve their skills but also build lasting confidence in their abilities. My tutoring style is student-centered. I begin each new relationship by learning how the student learns best—whether they’re visual, auditory, or hands-on learners—so I can tailor my teaching approach to match. I genuinely care about making math accessible and enjoyable. I understand that everyone learns at their own pace, and I’m committed to meeting students where they are and helping them grow from there. About the lesson

As a current college student maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my mathematics major, I approach teaching with a strong belief that every student is capable of understanding math when it’s taught in a way that speaks to them. My teaching method is flexible—I start by identifying the student’s preferred learning style, whether it’s visual, auditory, hands-on, or through repetition. This first getting to know them better decides how I deliver new concepts! A typical lesson with me includes three key parts: a brief review of previous material, an introduction of the new topic, and then plenty of practice with help from me. I give help until I see the concept click in their brain. I don’t aim for correct answers—I aim for deep understanding. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for math and for teaching. I love the subject, and more importantly, I want others to love it—or at least not fear it. I’m patient, encouraging, and fully invested in helping each student succeed in a way that makes sense to them! My lessons are geared toward elementary through high school students, whether they need foundational support, homework help, or test prep. I especially enjoy helping students build confidence in a subject that many find intimidating, and I tailor each lesson to their individual pace and needs.
