About Cyrus
Hi my name is "Cyrus Zhang" and I enjoy working with kids, I want to be able to gain more experience out of working as a tutor while also making sure my students would benefit greatly from it. In primary I was a study freak and didnt stop studying. Due to that I got top of my school and that made me realize maybe I dont need to study anymore since im already the best. All the way up until year 10 which was a 4 year difference I finally got handed a test that I couldn't do and from then on I realized if I had just kept studying I would be so far ahead in school right now and I want to make sure that my students would be ahead and not average.

I want to tutor people aged from 5-13 as that level I am very comfortable in teaching. My methods in teaching involve getting the student to first think about how they would solve it and teach them the way they should solve it. My lessons aren't to make the student do the questions correct but instead understand the methods and be able to do any question under it. I can teach the basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, ratios and for higher levels I can teach linear/parabola graphs, level 1 algebra and level 1 trigonometry.
