About Eliane

I am originally from Germany, I grew up with History "in my back yard". It is my passion and I am always more than happy to share it with others. With more than 12 years of experience, I also love teaching and tutoring. I have worked with children from 5-20 years old and also with children who had special needs (e.g. autism, ADHD ...) I do not judge and I am a very patient teacher :)

About the lesson

I start with a focus on my student's needs and wants (What is the main issue? What are you good at? What do you want to learn or practice?)

I normally start with questions about what happened since our last lesson, if there is any topic that needs immediate attention, any homework there are issues with or any major questions

Then, we repeat what we did last time or the times before, after that, we work with the topics we need/want to work with, do some tasks.

In the end we summarize what we have done and talk about last questions until next time. Of course, every student is different and has different needs and wants, I always adapt to the individual situation!
