I have extensive knowledge in early childhood education, backed by 4 years of assisting in teaching and having an associate's in early childhood education while working on a bachelor's in early childhood. As a tutor, I prioritize personalized learning and interactive engagement, adapting my methods to each student's unique needs. My typical lesson plan includes clear objective setting, warm-up activities, introduction of new material with multimodal resources, guided and independent practices, and a review session for feedback. What sets me apart is my adaptability and focus on mastery over memorization, encouraging critical thinking and self-assessment among learners. I cater primarily to elementary levels from 4k-3rd grade in subjects like reading, literacy, math and even spelling. I work as a resource assistant so I tutor children from 5k-5th grade daily in the subjects that they struggle in.
