About Jacob
I am a 19-year-old student from the University of Birmingham. I came from a very small town in Essex where I, as a mixed-race boy, was a minority - who was precited to achieve very little. So by gaining mainly A*'s and A's at GCSE and all A's in my A-levels, it instilled in me a belief that all students can achieve the best grades with hard work and dedication - which is what I hope to help them aspire to.

I teach through the student's minds, so I squeeze out all their initial ideas and build on them. This allows the short and long-term memory to be easily engaged and absorb the information. I use a lot of talking and text analysis around the subject to solidify their main content.
I also keep the lessons light-hearted so a student feels always okay to ask for explanations and not overly stretched, but strenuous enough that they will see real progress in their subject.
