About Katie
My name is Katie and I’m a current student at the University of Cambridge with two years of past tutoring experience!
My passion for teaching grew from a very special Geography teacher I had in year 8. He motivates me to strive to have the same impact he had for me on my own students because I remember how it felt when I felt things go click, and I love giving students that same feeling. Look how far his passion harnessing mine got me!

I’m passionate about helping students see the subject as more than maps and memorisation. My approach blends clear written explanations with visual tools like maps, charts and diagrams to make tricky concepts click. I focus on building genuine understanding and confidence, not just exam technique, and I adapt my teaching style to how each student learns best. No two tutees will have the same approach due to my highly personalised lessons!
