As an Algebra 1 tutor, my goal is to make math approachable, enjoyable, and tailored to your unique needs. Here's how I approach teaching:

Teaching Method and Techniques:
I firmly believe in meeting students where they are. During our sessions, I focus on what you want to learn. Whether it’s working through homework problems, clarifying tricky concepts, or preparing for a test, I adapt each session to your priorities.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Check-In : We’ll start by reviewing what you’d like to cover and addressing any immediate questions or challenges.
Focused Teaching : I’ll explain the concept, using examples to ensure it makes sense. We’ll work through problems together at a pace that works for you.
Practice: You’ll try solving problems on your own while I guide and provide feedback as needed.
Recap & Homework: We’ll summarize the day’s learning and set a plan for what to tackle next.

What makes my tutoring unique is my flexibility and student-centered approach. I let you take the lead in deciding what we focus on. If you’re struggling with something specific, we’ll spend time on that until you feel confident. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more like solving puzzles.
