About Amber
I’m currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, which means I’ve had a strong foundation in math and problem-solving at a high level. As a tutor, I bring patience, encouragement, and a thoughtful approach to every session. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorize steps, often guiding them through questions to build critical thinking and confidence. I’m responsive, reliable, and make it a point to stay in communication with students and their families to track progress and meet goals. More than anything, I care deeply about the growth of each student and take pride in helping them move from confusion to clarity. The results I’ve seen in my students’ improvement—and my own academic success—reflect the dedication I bring to every lesson.

I genuinely love helping students succeed in math—not just pass, but really understand it. With nearly a decade of informal tutoring and two years of formal experience, I’ve worked with learners of all ages and learning styles. Every student I’ve worked with has seen real improvement, especially in their test scores, and I take pride in making tough concepts click. Math can feel overwhelming, but I believe it’s also incredibly rewarding because there is always a way forward. One right answer and multiple ways to get there.
