About Cameron
I am a current student in mathematics and physics, with a strong background in the workforce as an automotive diagnostic technician. I have often found myself explaining how things work to people, and in the process learned how to cater to different learning styles and foster a dynamic that includes exploration, discussion and answering interesting questions. I've tutored math in the past, and am therefore experienced in working through problems with the intention of showing the reasoning behind each step.

My approach as a tutor is to formulate an understanding of a given concept from the level of the smallest working parts to the greater picture, and in the process maintain the connection between the two, in order to foster a true understanding of the material. A typical lesson involves introducing relevant ideas and building them up to the concept to be taught during said lesson. Then, examples are worked through showing how to use what's being taught. In this way an understanding of the idea is developed as well as a procedural view of how to apply it.
