About Kate
I am a college student at Duke University, studying biology and chemistry with a minor in history. I love to climb and listen to indie music. I also enjoy skiing and swimming. For the past year I have also been working in a biology lab, investigating RNA. I look forward to meeting you!

I prefer to first get to know the student and figure out their preferred teaching style. Usually, I will prepare a lesson plan, focusing on a specific topic (e.g. cell cycle) and also prepare some questions to ensure that the student is using the technique of active recall. My strategies fit high school students best as they can prepare you for standardized exams and tests.
