About Sasha
Hi! I'm Sasha and I've spent the last two years teaching reading to students at the elementary and middle school level. I understand how important it is to find a tutor you can trust: someone who is not only knowledgeable, but also patient, reliable, and genuinely committed to your success. As someone who had to prep for the ACT themselves, I know how stressful it can be and I hope that practicing with me helps you feel more confident before your test.

With 2 years of experience teaching reading, I bring a structured yet personalized approach to every lesson. A typical session includes a quick review of prior material, focused instruction on a new skill, guided practice together, and independent work while I monitor progress. I tutor elementary and middle school students building foundational reading skills, as well as high schoolers preparing for the ACT or polishing essays.
