About Heike
I have been teaching graduating students for 12 years. I have also been Subject Head of Humanities, and also Subject Head of CCE in my last 12 years. It isn't always easy for students to grasp the nuances and complexities of historical sources and the National Examinations, but it's not something impossible for them. I have had high percentages of distinctions in classes I have taught, but it is a lot of work on both our parts. Students need to know that they can do well and need to be disciplined to practice.

- Focus on answering techniques and study techniques.
- Main aim is to help students understand what Cambridge is looking for, which enables students to answer whatever questions and sources are given during their National Examinations.
- May recommend once a fortnightly lessons instead of weekly lessons, or once a month lessons (catering to what individual students need and the levels they are at).
- May also recommend group tuition (of no larger than 5 students), depending on the study habits of students as some do better in groups.
