About Saul
The United States of America; The country where dreams are completed and even more are bound to break. My parents, aunts, and uncles all immigrated to this country for that very reason. My cousins, sister, and I are all products of our parents who fled their drug and violence-infested ranches, only for me to land in a city that too has its violent problems. Stockton, California. One simple misstep can land you in one of the city’s many gangs, and considering the city’s weak economy and social inequality, that is the only option for many. As someone who comes from a low-income household, I want to be an example that anything is possible. Things will get tough, but at the end of every tunnel, there is light, and if I can help give to the Stockton community, then I will with a smile on my face.
