About Todd
I’m a dedicated and curious learner with a strong academic background in forensic studies and criminal justice. With hands-on experience in academic research and a passion for ethical reasoning in forensic science, I bring both knowledge and real-world perspective to my tutoring. I’ve worked with students on everything from foundational theory to advanced topics like unreliable forensic methods and courtroom standards. Currently, I’m completing my degree and have also contributed to academic writing projects, including a journal article focused on the ethical implications of untested forensic techniques in court. My goal is to help students not only understand their material but also think critically and confidently apply it in real-life or academic settings.

My approach is rooted in clarity, adaptability, and active learning. I believe that understanding comes from engagement, so I use a combination of guided questions, real-life examples, and simplified explanations to help students grasp complex ideas. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style—whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners—and incorporate spaced repetition and active recall to boost long-term retention
My lessons are designed for college and upper high school students studying forensic science, criminal justice, legal studies, or related fields. I also support students preparing academic papers, capstone projects, or those struggling with scientific and ethical reasoning in the context of law and forensic evidence. Whether you’re a first-year student needing foundational help or an upperclassman tackling complex cases, I tailor sessions to your specific academic goals
