About Ishan
As a tutor, I will not only teach my students effectively, but also teach them to love the world of mathematics. As a Highschool senior that has taken over 12 AP Level Courses and multiple high level college courses, I can assure any student that I have the knowledge necessary to assist in any math field. With my 2 years of tutoring experience, I understand how to efficiently teach students in a meaningful manner and help them grasp concepts quick.

These lessons are for middle schoolers to highschoolers that are struggling with mathematics. I can teach algebra, geometry, precalculus, and other beginner forms of mathematics. A typical lesson would start with me accessing their current skills using various practice tests and helping students with current homework problems, quiz/test preparations, or any concept that they are currently struggling. Then I would go over any problems that they are struggling with and see how they can improve on what they are currently learning. As someone that initially struggled with math myself, I learned that the best way to teach students is not through consistent repetition, but making mathematics more fun by changing up problems or playing fun games to win prizes. I think the biggest thing that sets me apart as a tutor is my age. As a highschool senior, I would be able to form more of a connection with my students since many would share the same interests as myself. I can use that to my advantage to teach them more effectively; the students can gain an interactive aspect to mathematics while learning efficiently.
