About Emily

I myself struggled with comprehending information, studying, and keeping my focus under control. I've been able to teach myself different methods to help myself be more focused in and understand materials given to me better by a couple simple methods and preparations, especially before bigger tests. I used to feel overwhelmed and unsure of myself. Over time I learned how to study, stay patient, and keep trying even when things were difficult and I felt discouraged. Those challenges shaped me, made me more understanding, and taught me that improvement comes with effort and support. My past struggles helped me grow into someone who works hard, asks questions, and believes that every setback can be a lesson.

About the lesson

I'm able to help kids learn how to study using different methods, and teach them ones that worked for me as well. I can break down lessons into simple steps giving clear examples, and providing patience guidance. I use activities, practice questions, and real life connections so they can understand the material better. I encourage questions, build confidence, and support them until they feel comfortable working independently. I can create a comfortable learning space where they feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. I track progress, celebrate small achievements, and adjust lessons so each student can learn at their own pace and grow more confident over time.
