About Alex
Although I’m only a high school student, I have found an early passion in teaching and helping others. There are many instances where my friends and I come together to study and teach each other new subjects, and I believe this experience, coupled with my years teaching Korean, have allowed me to become a reliable and helpful peer. In addition, I have been able to consistently learn and retain significant amounts of information during my high school career through methods that I have found work the best for me. I recognize how important it is to not only learn information, but also how to retain the information, and will teach any student how to find the way that works best for them.

I’ve been a teacher’s assistant for four years teaching the Korean language and through this was able to learn a lot of useful skills. I break down foreign concepts to make them easy to understand and I know when to give students help or let them solve their problems on their own. I am also very straightforward - I will state the problem and either guide you to a solution or let you find the solution yourself. Mainly I will be answering questions, providing practice, and teaching concepts, but if there is anything specific that is needed I will gladly help with that as well.
