About Alex
I work with students every day to strengthen their reading and writing skills by engaging with a variety of texts and writing for a range of purposes. I also work with students who are learning English as a second language to develop their vocabulary and grammar skills as well as their confidence and comfortability with the language. I have ample experience helping students to meet their English learning goals.

I currently teach 12th grade English Honors and ESOL, as well as AICE General Paper. Previously, I’ve taught 11th, 8th, and 7th grade English. I have a bachelors in English Education from FSU. I can help with academic essay writing as well as college application essays. Also, reading comprehension including literature and poetry, SAT and ACT reading and writing test prep, vocabulary, and learning English as a second language.
