About Izzy

Hey there! I graduated with my bachelor’s in psychology and a double minor in behavioral science and economics. I graduated with Psychology as my major with a 4.0 GPA in courses required for my major. I have past experience in tutoring classes such as introductory psychology, social psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral psychology. I also took the AP Psychology exam as a high school student and received a 5/5. About the lesson

My goal is not just to focus on the material, but also to allow you to explore the learning methods that work best for you and provide you with resources so that you feel more confident. Each session starts with figuring out where you're at with the material and how you learn best. I tailor my approach from session to session rather than using a single fixed method, since everyone processes information differently. Beyond just covering course content, we can also brainstorm about study strategies and resources you can use outside our sessions, so you build lasting confidence rather than just getting through the next test. I've tutored a range of psychology courses, including introductory psychology, social psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral psychology, and I'm happy to help whether you're keeping up with weekly coursework or studying for something like the AP Psychology exam.
