About Ahmed
Hi, I'm Ahmed. I'm originally from Egypt and have lived in Malaysia for several years. I'm currently a math teacher for Grade 1 to 4 and a PhD researcher in Computer Science at Universiti Malaya.
Teaching has been part of my journey for a while. At IIUM I tutored a class of about 30 university students in database programming, and during my internship I designed and taught a 48-hour AI course for diploma students.
I love the moment when a student who thought "I'm bad at math" suddenly gets it. My goal is to build that confidence, not just better marks.

I'm currently a maths teacher for Grade 1 to 4, so I work with young learners every day and know where kids usually get stuck.
My lessons are calm, patient and step by step. I start by finding out what your child already understands, then fill the gaps before moving on. I explain each idea in simple words, use examples and small games to keep it fun, and give short practice so the skill sticks.
I hold a Computer Science degree (CGPA 3.85) with grade A in all my university maths courses, and I'm doing a PhD at Universiti Malaya. Lessons are in English, and I can also explain in Arabic if that helps.
Parents get a quick update after each lesson on what we covered and what to practise.
