About Adi

I’m 19 years old and have just completed my A Level studies, specialising in Maths and Further Maths for all grade levels. I offer personalised lessons tailored to each student’s learning style, aiming to build confidence and make learning enjoyable. Over the past year, I’ve served as House Academics Captain and volunteered at a local primary school, helping Year 6 pupils improve their maths skills. These experiences have taught me invaluable lessons about communicating with different age groups to bring out their best. Outside of academics, I enjoy a variety of sports and fitness activities.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Adi. I am a first year economics undergraduate at Kings College, Cambridge, and I believe that I would be a good fit for providing you with the skills you need to ace your exams. I believe that the best way for teaching students how to ace their exams is to emphasise their understanding of key concepts - this will allow them to apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems more effectively. This is what I would primarily focus on. Once we are secure with their understanding of topics, I would move onto a wide variety of problem questions, making questions more difficult as we go along. We can then review any difficulties faced together, allowing us to identify any weak points and areas to improve. I have had much experience helping students in my school, from year 7 maths all the way up to A level further maths. I believe that my current experience with revising for these exams will be of great benefit, as it gives me a better understanding of the types of questions asked on these papers and means that I am well versed on all of the small components on the specification. Furthermore, it gives me a better sense of the struggles that students may be facing, as I too have had to overcome these struggles. I have sat through many different lessons with many different teachers, and I understand that different students respond better to different methods of teaching. I will ensure that all sessions will be tailored to the individual and their needs, thus ensuring that we will get the most out of each and every session.
