About Michael

I have a strong academic and professional background that allows me to help students succeed in a variety of subjects. I have completed college-level coursework in business, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, and information systems, giving me a solid foundation in both quantitative and analytical problem-solving. In addition to my academic experience, I have worked in banking and private equity, where I developed practical skills in financial analysis, valuation, research, and data-driven decision-making. This combination of classroom knowledge and real-world experience helps me explain concepts in a way that is both understandable and relevant. I am comfortable working with Excel, financial modeling, managerial accounting, and business analytics, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in these areas. My goal is not only to help students earn better grades but also to ensure they truly understand the material and can apply it in future classes and professional settings.

About the lesson

I would be a great tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts and seeing them succeed. I am patient, approachable, and willing to answer questions until a student feels confident. My background in business, finance, accounting, and economics has taught me how to break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I also understand what it's like to struggle with challenging coursework, which allows me to relate to students and encourage them without judgment. I believe that a good tutor does more than provide answers—they help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and become independent learners.
