About Saniya
Hello! My name is Saniya and I am a final year Medical student. I believe in making my sessions student-led so we can focus on things that they might want to improve on. I believe this is the most effective way to make the most of our one hour sessions. I have always enjoyed teaching and am excited to bring my skill set here. My classes are tailored towards the students' needs. I am happy to tutor alongside what the student may be learning in school/college e.g. what they find difficult or extra practice in certain areas. My lessons will be 1 hour long and I mainly have experience with the AQA exam board. Psychology has always been my favourite subject whilst at college and I really understand the impact that 1:1 tutoring can have on an individual and their learning. It gives the student a confidence boost as well as encouragement to set personal goals. My sessions will involve me setting homework as well as encouraging students to do lots of past paper questions as well as going through key concepts. I have always found this way of learning very effective and this is what has led me to do well in psychology! I have currently finished my second year of medical school in the UK and have achieved A* AA in my A levels with the A* being in psychology. I hope to bring the tips and tricks I have learnt whilst learning Psychology at college as well as learning techniques which have helped me throughout my life to our lessons in order to make a fun, positive and useful experience! **MY FIRST CLASS IS FREE** this is an excellent opportunity to get to know me, my teaching style, and any questions you may have!
