About Claudia

Hello future biologists!
Currently I am in my 2nd year of BSc Zoology at the Centre of Ecology and Conservation in Exeter University.

I loved biology throughout school but as most students agree, the exams can be a buzz kill and pretty daunting. I understand the frustration but I'm passionate about breaking through this and actually enjoying the learning process.

We will work together to find strategies to boost understanding, information recall and problem solving to get you through you exams and peak your interest in the natural world.

I attained a 9 in GCSE Biology and an A in A Level Biology and Psychology.
(I also have ADD and autism so would love to share my tips and strategies with others that also struggle with concentration or overstimulation! Or divide lessons into bite size sessions)

About the lesson

Each typical 30 minute session will focus on a topic and end answering some past exam questions. Making sure there is solid understanding before moving on. We will use textbooks and real life examples, some homework to help you retain info and lots of documentary recommendations.
I am a real visual learner so will incorporate diagrams, flowcharts and videos into lessons.

Lessons are flexible in content so if you want to go over an exam or a particular question in detail, I'll be happy to help.

My lessons cater to secondary, GCSE and A Level Biology (and A Level Psychology)
I can tutor in person during Christmas/Easter/summer holidays depending on timetabling and online throughout term time.

It is to be noted that is my first tutoring job. However, I have been providing concise and essential study notes online with great feedback but want to further my teaching to in person!

Travel will be £1 per mile
If students require a specific textbook an extra fee will be required. I have AQA GCSE and A Level books.
