About Niyaz
As a current STEM student at UC Santa Barbara, I know what it is like to be taking rigorous courses. I have taken all of General Chemistry, and am currently halfway through Organic Chemistry. I have taken Cellular biology, microbiology, ecology and a number of other biology courses making me well prepared to tutor such subjects.
When it comes to mathematics, as someone who initially disliked the subject in high school, I am well equipped to teach students who may not instinctively understand the complex subject. Overtime, I have come to have a greater appreciation for the subject, achieving top scores in 3 Calculus courses, as well as Statistics. I can help students find the motivation to truly improve their math skills and I can understand the mind of a student who may originally dislike the subject, and I also have previous experience tutoring students in math.
Writing has always been a skill I have loved and I would like to say I have a knack for. During high school, I worked in editing students essays, as well as tutoring ACT/SAT English. I took AP English Language as well as AP English Literature, and got a perfect score on my ACT English and am well equipped to edit and assist students in essay writing.

I am able to tutor high school students in both Chemistry and Biology, as well as the associated honors/AP courses. I can assist with homework assignments, ensuring they understand the concepts and can apply the knowledge to in-school exams. As someone who just recently took Chemistry and Biology, I will be able to provide tips and tricks that allowed me to succeed in these courses.
I am also able to tutor elementary and middle school math, as well as high school math courses like Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Precalculus. As someone who did not love math in high school and is now excelling, I can effectively help students who struggle with math to better understand the subject long term.
I also love writing and can teach students how to make their writing sound more professional and fluid, and will be able to expand students vocabulary and abilities in writing. I am also available to edit essays. I can be of great help in improving students writing.
