About Felicia

I am a dedicated and high-achieving student currently in my first year of college, where I am deepening my passion for literature and linguistics through my English Language studies. Having recently completed my GCSEs with Grade 9s in both English Language and Literature, I have a fresh and comprehensive understanding of the current curriculum and what it takes to succeed.

I chose to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others unlock their potential. I remember how a little extra support could make a massive difference in my own confidence at school, and I want to provide that same encouragement to my students. My goal is to make English feel less like a chore and more like a set of exciting tools that students can use to express themselves.

Outside of my studies, I am an avid reader (currently reading the Bell Jar) and writer, which helps me bring an enthusiastic and authentic energy to every lesson. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping every child I teach reach their personal best.

About the lesson

I am a first-year college student currently studying English Language, having achieved Grade 9s in both English Literature and Language at GCSE. My lessons are specifically designed for KS2 students looking to excel in their reading, writing, and grammar.

I believe in highly structured lessons that provide a clear path to improvement. Each session follows a logical flow: we begin by reviewing previous topics, move into interactive skill-building, and finish with a practical application of what we’ve learned. This ensures that every hour spent is productive and focused.

Parental involvement is a core part of my approach. I provide regular feedback after lessons so you are always kept in the loop regarding your child's strengths and areas for growth. I am also happy to suggest small tasks for students to work on between sessions to keep their momentum going.

Typically, my lessons are one hour long, but I am flexible to accommodate your schedule. Whether we are preparing for SATs or building general literacy, I aim to make English both accessible and rewarding
