About Angela
I tutored math for two years at Pikes Peak Community College while I was earning my Associates in Chemistry. I am now a student at Colorado School of Mines, where I am earning my bachelors in Biochemistry. I know it's a little weird that I tutor math seeing as I am studying science, but I chose biochemistry as my major due to how it challenged me. Personally, it is very satisfying to finally understand the concepts that gave me the hardest time, which is why I love tutoring. I love seeing my students have "light bulb moments" during our sessions.

My job is to tutor myself out of a job! Here's what an average session looks like:
1) Help the student identify confusing concepts. This helps students be able to advocate for the help they need.
2) Work alongside student and use resources, whether provided by the student or me, to tackle concepts.
3) Ensure the student understands the material, and then finish the session with identifying what areas may still need improvement as well as resource suggestions. I never like to leave a student without a resource or two!
My end goal is to leave students feeling more confident in their abilities!
