About Jared
I have two years of high school level math tutoring working with students who severely struggled in the subject with a very high success rate! Being a Physics student in college means I'm in tutoring centers almost everyday to learn new material for myself. Learning from other tutors consistently teaches me new methods of how to communicate information to a student in a way that is easy to understand. The math skills I tutor are also skills that are used in my everyday college life. If you're looking for an attentive, patient tutor, then I'm the person for you!

A typical lesson plan goes as follows.
There will be a short introduction to review what material needs to be learned and what skills need to be developed. After that point, there will be a few practice problems to see where the student stands on the material. Skills are broken up into small, bite sized pieces making material easier to learn the student. At the end of the lesson, there will be a series of practice problems for the student to do on their own. At any point in time if there is specific problems the student would like to work on, then the necessary skills to solve the problem will be taught and we can work through it together. One of the largest issues is burnout, so typically lessons will be no longer than an hour to an hour and a half unless longer is sessions are requested. If requested lesson plans can be done through skeleton notes and outlines that will help students to remember the different skills in an order that's applicable to solving more complex problems.
