About Taylor
Hey! My name is Taylor, and I am currently studying chemistry at the University of Chicago. I am bilingual in Mandarin and English, both of which can be my language of instruction! I have been super enthusiastic about science since I was a child and I'd love to share my passion with you! As an IB graduate myself, I am familiar with various high school curriculums (IB/AP/IGCSE). I am super excited about getting to know you as my students while helping you along the journey ; )

My lessons are usually customized for students' specific needs. But generally speaking, a typical lesson often starts with a brief recap from the previous section and progresses into a 15-20 minute discussion about assignments (schoolwork/past paper/general exercises depending on the situation). Next, I will usually spend 30-60 minutes lecturing on a new topic as needed, which is accompanied by interactive Q&A. Of course, details about teaching style and lesson content are always open to discussion ; )
I am looking for students from Grade 7 to 12 with whom I can build personal bonds and share my passion for chemistry (whether you are struggling in class, preparing for a test, or simply want to get ahead!).
