About Hermione
I am currently a student at University of Cambridge, studying French and Russian for my degree. I really enjoy learning languages and would love to pass this passion for languages on to my students, since I believe that, through personalised resources, learning French and succeeding in exams can be made, not only possible, but a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

As a student who reached top grades (A* and 9) in French at A-level and GCSE, I can provide students with an in-depth understanding of the essential knowledge, skills, and techniques for exams, as well as offering them the opportunity to look beyond these exams and understand more of the richness of French culture as a whole, with the hope that this leaves students with a lasting interest in French language and culture. I plan all my lessons (typically between 30 mins to an hour long) in relation to the relavant French course curriculum for each student at both GCSE and A-level standard and so I ensure that students gain a full understanding of the necessary elements of the language, focusing on grammar and building vocabulary. Moreover, my lessons will then put this language knowledge to use, as we look to apply it to textbook examples, past exam questions, and real-life situations so that students havethe opportunity to extend their learning beyond the walls of the classroom. In this way, I will teach with the aim that students master all of the necessary skills for succeeding in French language exams at GCSE and A-level, all while also enagaging with different aspects of French culture, and so learning in a much more holistic way. This offers a flexible approach to tutoring which allows teaching resources to be tailored specifically to each and every student's needs and situation, allowing students to find interest and enjoyment in their studies as well as success in their French lagnauge exams.
