About Ismail

I’m a passionate engineer with a degree from University College London and currently completing my master’s at the University of Cambridge. Having worked with the Mercedes Formula One Team, I’ve seen how physics powers the world around us—and now, I want to share that knowledge with you. I love breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas and seeing that “aha” moment in my students. My goal is to help you not only succeed in physics but truly enjoy learning it. Let’s explore the wonders of physics together!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on making physics relatable and intuitive. I believe that the key to truly understanding complex concepts lies in connecting them to the world around us. By using everyday examples—like cars, planes, and other familiar objects—I simplify difficult ideas, helping students build a strong intuition rather than just memorizing formulas. I tailor each lesson to the individual, ensuring that I meet the student’s unique needs and learning style.

I offer sessions that typically range from 1 to 2 hours, which allows enough time to dive deep into the material without overwhelming the student. During our lessons, I encourage active engagement and critical thinking, always aiming to make the learning experience interactive and enjoyable.

My qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, and I’m currently completing a master’s in Energy Technologies at the University of Cambridge. I’ve also worked with the Mercedes Formula One Team, where I gained hands-on experience with advanced engineering concepts. While I don’t have formal teaching certifications, I’ve consistently mentored peers throughout my academic journey, always striving to make physics clear and engaging.

My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early university students who want to improve their physics understanding. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I’m dedicated to helping you not only improve your grades but also develop a genuine passion for the subject.
