About Evan
As a tutor, I want to create as comfortable an environment as possible for my students. I think we all work and learn better when we feel safe and encouraged enough to ask questions we might otherwise be afraid to bring up. I want to be a friend to my students and for my sessions to be a place that we can both learn from each other. I have a strong background in math (1490 SAT score, scored 5s on AP Calc BC and AP Physics C exams) and I hope that my knowledge combined with my desire to create a welcoming environment will convince you to study with me!

Hello future student! My approach as a tutor is to cater to your needs as much as possible. In my experience, having a flexible tutor who is willing to work on whatever is needed that day is the most effective learning environment. Math is one of my favorite parts of nature and I love helping others better understand it. I am a very logical thinker and I will do my best to approach material in different ways to suit your learning methods. I plan to teach mostly algebra for 7-10th graders, but I am happy to branch into kinematics or geometry. I would also enjoy branching out into other subjects if that's what you're interested in!
