About Phoebe
I'm currently studying Physics at University and if there's one thing I've noticed, it's the perception that pursuing studies in STEM is an unattainable or "too bold" choice. I'm here to help students who are just looking to get through those assessments, and especially those who have a love for STEM but in some way don't feel "suited" to it. I'm here to tell you as well that all of us have moments of doubt in our academic lives and careers about whether we are good enough or smart enough. I would love to increase the confidence that young students have in themselves that would hopefully allow them to pursue careers that they previously didn't believe were on the cards for them. I would love to show through my work that STEM is and can be for everybody, and that as cliché as it sounds it can also be a lot of fun.

I will cover an interactive approach to tutoring that encourages students to be involved in learning rather than sitting back and listening to a lecture. I'm well versed in a number of exam board curricula, providing preparation for specific exams. My lessons are intended for all ages up to A-Level, specifically in Maths and Physics in which I achieved As at A-Level and have continued on to a degree which is currently in line with a First. My lessons are available between 1-2 hours long depending on students' needs and what suits them best. I aim to keep all my lessons interactive and engaging as I understand greatly that an hour of lecturing is not the best learning style for many students. Please let me know when enquiring what level of study you are pursuing and what exam board you are studying through as this allows me to best prepare you for the curriculum you are studying and any exams ahead. In our first session we will aim to recognise any areas of difficulty within the curriculum that will need extra time, and what learning style is the best approach for you.
