About Sara
Hello! My name is Sara, and I am a current American high school senior. I am passionate about helping learners grow in both confidence and academic knowledge. I am fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, which allows me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and make my lessons more accessible and engaging. I have already been involved in a variety of tutoring programs and spent 150+ hours in tutoring and preparing. My local time is GMT-5. I am a schoolhouse-certified tutor, which is an organization associated with the College Board and Khan Academy. I received 5s on AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC, earning with AP Scholar with distinction in 2024-2025. I also received a perfect score, 800/800, in my SAT math section. I believe every learner has the potential to succeed, and my goal is to guide you with the tools, strategies, and motivation you need to reach your goals.

My targeted tutoring group is junior high and high school level math classes, including Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Precalculus, and Calculus; as well as PSAT and SAT math section preparation.
Each lesson is personalized to fit the students' needs, but my general routine follows a clear structure:
1. Reviewing basic concepts.
2. Solving and analyzing targeted practice problems.
3. Evaluating progress with feedback and strategic adjustments.
Before my lessons, I promise:

2. To create practice tests and review them with you carefully.
3. To explain concepts in a clear and relatable way.

I perfectly understand what students are going through and how to explain the concepts in a clearer and more approachable way.
