About Josh
I am currently in my 2nd year of my Physics PhD program (started in Oct 2019) at the university of Exeter working on "Manipulating the coupling and scattering of surface waves at terminations and at discontinuities". In layman terms - an experimental physicist with a specialisation in electromagnetic waves with a strong dependency on mathematical and programming theory.
I completed my BSc in Physics also at the university of Exeter in 2018, finishing with a 2:1 and awarded the Newman Prize for 'Most Outstanding Project in terms of Ingenuity and Intuition Shown'.
I am originally from the small seaside town of Lymington in Hampshire where I attended Brockenhurst College where I studied, Maths, Physics, and Classical Civilisations (rogue one) finishing with AAA.

I base my lessons on the specific exam board you are working towards. I follow the exam boards requirements to ensure you will do as well as you can in your upcoming exam.
I have had experience helping A level students whilst in college as well as assisting varying friends and family with exams from GCSE up to 1styear undergrad.
Working as a PhD student, I am well accustomed with tackling problems from a variety of viewpoints and will do my best teach and explain concepts in a manner which is most appropriate for the student.
I currently assist with teaching 1st year 'Physics - Programming in Python', 'Intro for Maths for Physicists' (not as specific to Physics as it sounds) as well as 2nd Year Experimental Lab work.
