About Liz
From a young age, I’ve always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, which naturally led me to tutoring. For the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students across different ages and levels, and I’ve found that teaching is not just about helping someone pass a test or complete homework—it’s about inspiring curiosity and confidence. The most rewarding part for me is witnessing those "aha" moments when something clicks for a student, and they start to believe in their own abilities.
My drive to teach comes from a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners. I understand that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and I find great fulfillment in adapting my teaching methods to suit their individual needs. It’s incredibly gratifying to be able to guide students toward their goals, whether that’s mastering a difficult concept, improving their grades, or simply developing a love for learning.
Beyond the subject matter, I see education as a way to help students develop important life skills—critical thinking, problem-solving, and resilience. Teaching, to me, is about creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and grow. This is what keeps me passionate about being a tutor, and it’s why I look forward to every lesson I teach

As a tutor with over two years of experience, my approach centers around creating a tailored and student-focused learning environment. Each lesson typically lasts 30 to 40 minutes, though I am flexible and adjust the duration based on the individual needs and attention span of the student. This ensures that every session is both engaging and productive, allowing students to absorb the material without feeling overwhelmed.
My teaching techniques involve a blend of interactive learning, real-world application, and conceptual understanding. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts, making the learning process more approachable and enjoyable. I employ visual aids, hands-on activities, and relatable examples to keep students motivated and help them understand how the material connects to their everyday lives.
