About Alyssa Arianna

I’m a law student who finds comfort in words, stories, and the quiet magic of good writing. I love poetry, creative expression, and the way language can shape thought and feeling. So whenever I’m not studying, you’ll usually find me writing, listening to 80s music, or rewatching Dead Poets Society! It's a film that reminds me why words matter because I believe writing is more than rules and format, it’s about discovering a voice and learning how to use it with confidence. Hence, in my lessons, I aim to create a gentle, encouraging space where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, making mistakes, and growing through language.

About the lesson

I focus on a student-centered and discussion-based approach. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I emphasize clarity, structure, and expression in writing, while encouraging creativity and critical thinking. As for poetry and creative writing, I guide students through close reading, brainstorming, drafting, and gentle refinement to help them find their own voice rather than forcing a rigid style.

Typical Length of a Lesson
60 minutes per session (flexible depending on the student’s needs and attention span)

Qualifications & Experience
Current law student with a strong command of English and academic writing
Experience tutoring peers and juniors in English, essay writing, and literature
Active writer with a strong interest in poetry and creative expression
Familiar with exam-oriented writing as well as expressive and reflective writing
