About Jay
I am a management student with a minor in design, with a strong interest in language, storytelling, and creative expression. Alongside my academic background, I have written and designed my own poetry book, which reflects my approach to writing as both a personal and structured form of expression.
I enjoy working with language in a way that feels natural and meaningful rather than mechanical. My experience with creative writing and poetry helps me guide students not just in understanding texts, but in developing their own voice and confidence while writing.
I am patient, detail-oriented, and focused on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to think, express, and improve at their own pace.

I approach teaching English as a way to help students think clearly and express themselves with confidence, not just as a subject to memorize. My focus is on reading, creative writing, and poetry, where students learn to understand ideas deeply and communicate them in their own voice.
My teaching method is simple, structured, and interactive. I break concepts down into easy, relatable steps and encourage students to engage actively rather than passively learn. Instead of giving fixed answers, I guide students to develop their own interpretations and writing style.
